    Our Services

Paradise Point Physiotherapy is a health care practice concerned with human function and movement and maximising an individual’s potential:

    • it uses physical approaches to promote, maintain and restore physical, psychological and social well-being, taking into account variations in health status.
    • it is science-based and committed to extending, applying, evaluating and reviewing the evidence that underpins and informs its practice and delivery.
    • the implementation of clinical judgement and informed interpretation is at its core.In other words we listen to your problems, we assess your function, we draw a conclusion, we formulate a treatment and rehabilitation plan… and you get better!

The treatments that are used at Paradise Point Physiotherapy are wide and varied, but the emphasis throughout all the treatment is on a working relationship between the patient and physiotherapist.

The treatment given by the physiotherapist goes hand in hand with an in-depth home treatment and exercise plan undertaken by the patient. Without the two taking place in conjunction with one another the benefit will not be as great.

As the name suggests, physiotherapy or physical therapy is predominantly about physically working on your body to alleviate symptoms and correct movement abnormalities which may be causing the problems that you are experiencing.

Manual therapy of the soft tissues, joints and other structures within your body is a large part of the process. In other words hand-on therapy!

Pain relief in the form of soft tissue work, trigger point release, heat, ice and hydrotherapy are also used.

Specific movement patterns and strategies are taught, along with unique customised rehabilitation programs to enable you to reach your full recovery.

It is difficult to describe the full journey your body will take on its assessment, treatment and rehabilitation from symptoms you are experiencing, but the repertoire of our physiotherapists enable a full spectrum of treatments to be used to alleviate your discomfort.
